Affiliated as a "Landmark Site" since 1992

The Beatrice Public Library Arboretum consists of a variety of trees, shrubs and gardens that enhance the 23,000 square foot facility. The library was built in 1991 on the grounds of the historic Sonderegger mansion. The entrance features a brick mural created at Endicott Clay Products by the Lincoln artist Jack Curran. The sculpture "StoryBooks" created by George Lundeen is also located near the front entrance.
