Affiliated as a "Community Arboretum" site since 2001

Crofton Courts Arboretum, named for the place in England--Crofton Courts--for which the community of Crofton garnered its name, was established in 1992 in seven "courts" around town. The Arboretum includes Flagview Court in the city's 100-year-old South City Park, Arbor Walkway Court in Northside Park near the swimming pool and tennis courts, as well as Linden Court, Cottonwood Court and plantings known as the Baseball Lane of Fame at Crofton's renovated historic baseball complex. The Arboretum at Crofton became a partner affiliate site in May, 2001 and contains over 60 different types of woody plants.
