Founded in 1885, significant efforts have been made to develop Forest Lawn as a sylvan paradise. Designed somewhat like a park, it has an impressive variety of trees: oak, maple, hickory, larch, spruce, fir, magnolia, tulip tree and a stretch of gingko-lined road. Anyone seeking a relaxing stroll among majestic trees will not be disappointed.
