1103 B St. Schuyler, NE 68661 402/615-3179 Affiliated as an "Accredited Arboretum" site since 1990 Railside Green Arboretum occupies a 2.7 acre abandoned rail siding in the downtown business district of Schuyler. This downtown oasis includes 22 overstory trees, 18 understory trees, 70 evergreens, 254 shrubs and features three varieties of native grasses. On-going research monitors how well the different plant species have responded to this difficult planting site. |
